TITLE:
IT ANALYST
DUTIES:
Gather and analyze business requirements for managing client’s business processes; Conduct business process analysis and preliminary cost benefit analysis to align information technology solutions with business initiatives; Perform ETL, backend testing and create ad hoc reports using SQL; Create UI design using iRise tool; Perform gap analysis and identify solutions to re-design business processes; Prepare Technical Design Documents, Test Plans and strategy, Test Cases, UAT, Use Cases, User Manuals and Production Support Plans; Prepare project plans and budgets, functional designs using Baan ERP ( Baan IV, Baan V and ERP LN) and its interfaces with various applications including web based applications; Conduct gap analysis to cover deficiencies; train users to use customized system and provide technical assistance to program users; Prepare, edit and respond to RFP’s (Request for proposal); Work with SDLC and Agile methodologies and analyze Business Processes and Document Flow. Plan and prepare technical reports, memoranda and instructional manuals as documentation of program development. Co-Ordinate development and testing activities with Technical teams;
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have Masters degree or foreign equivalent in CS/MIS/Information Technology Management/Information System, and 1 year of experience in job offered/ Business Analyst/System Analyst/ Business Systems Analyst/related. Experience must include 1 year of experience in gathering business requirements; preparing technical design documents, test plans, test cases, UAT, use cases, user manuals and production support; using BAAN (BAAN IV, BAAN V AND ERP LN) and its interface; Preparing and responding to RFPS (REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL) plans. In lieu of masters degree plus 1 year, employer will accept bachelors degree or foreign equivalent and 5 years progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
JOB LOCATION:
Essani International LLC, 471 sterling lane, South Elgin, IL 60177 and various other unanticipated locations across U.S. candidate may be required to relocate to unanticipated client locations throughout the US.
Position and Hours of work: Permanent, Full time position ; Monday to Friday , 9:00 am to 5 pm, 40 hours a week
